Experience Design

I design moving immersive experiences that invite participants to voice vulnerable feelings and opinions that they may have never shared before, much less as part of a group experience. I work to nurture a sense of safety — to explore intellectually, emotionally, with freedom.

New York is Creative
Creative Mornings/New York

In March of 2022, Alexa and I welcomed the CreativeMornings/NYC community back to in-person gatherings with a crowdsourced showcase of pandemic creative projects. It’s now part of an ongoing series called New York is Creative

CONNECTED Stories

From 2017 to 2019, I was the lead creative producer and writer of a live performance series called ConnectED Stories. I’ve helped college presidents and leaders share the most vulnerable moments of their lives and careers on stage.

Pivotal Moments

I designed an interactive exhibit where conference attendees can share the turning points that changed their lives, inspired by Candy Chang’s Monument for the Anxious and Hopeful

Wedding Officiant

My discovery methods and storytelling skills allow me to deeply understand a couple and share their unique story with their loved ones. I have officiated two weddings, and would be honored to officiate more.

Miscellany:

  • I wrote a guide to stir frying to help a colleague troubleshoot her stir fry woes.
  • I helped a friend archive the detritus and ephemera of his heartbreak.
