Howdy 👋🏼
I’m an arts writer and producer at the National Gallery of Art in Washington, DC. Originally from California, I became mesmerized with art when my dad dragged 13 year-old me to the Getty Center while I was in a fugue state from strep throat. I’ve been trying to bottle up that magic ever since. I spin stories about artists and artworks in a variety of places: on museum tours, in articles online, and on the ol’ YouTube.
Outside of my day job, I:
- Contribute to 730DC, the District’s best newsletter.
- Teach creative workshops that embrace the mess and fun of art-making.
- Paint every day (or try to).
I used to:
- Write CreativeMornings‘ cult newsletter, a half million subscribers strong. I built a relationship with readers over what it means to live a creative life.
- Design immersive live experiences.
Let’s collaborate on something together.
Art, Content, and Curation
